David Pinchen D.Pod.M. M.Ch.S

David qualified in Birmingham and has been in practice as a chiropodist and podiatrist for over 25 years.

Originally, he was reading Law but decided that a legal career was not for him.  He met a newly qualified chiropodist who sold the profession to him.  So, he applied to Birmingham College, was accepted and duly qualified.  On qualifying, David worked part-time for the health service while simultaneously developing his own private practice.  At this time, he was also working in a prestigious clinic in London, treating complex paediatric foot and leg deformities. After a time, he left the London clinic due to his own private practice becoming busier.  His efforts as a clinical director has developed The WalkWell Clinic - a very successful and multi-disciplinary private clinic providing a wide range of services that help many people.

David’s special areas of interest include musculo-skeletal podiatry, minor surgery, biomechanics, sports medicine and paediatrics.

Hobbies include playing guitar and keyboard, hill walking, reading, running, cycling and spending time with the family.

Vicky Morley BSc(Hons)Pod. M.Ch.S

Vicky Morley

Vicky graduated from Northampton University in June 2008 with a Bachelor of Science (Honours) Degree in Podiatric Medicine.

Because of her love of animals, Vicky originally wanted to become a veterinary nurse. However, when her father was diagnosed with diabetes, this changed her choice of career.  After visiting the hospital with her father, a determination to become a podiatrist rapidly developed.  Her passion in this area has continued ever since.

Her specialist interests are in diabetes, minor surgery, paediatric foot health and lower limb biomechanics.  Her enthusiasm has continued unabated as she is now a qualified Medical Aesthetics Practitioner.  Medical Aesthetics is a broad subject; however, it can be condensed down to providing dermal filler and muscle relaxant treatments in the feet.  These treatments are used for certain medical conditions of the feet.  Her future aim is to build a regular surgical clinic providing various cutting edge minor surgical treatments.

Vicky says -
"I love researching new and innovative treatments that help reduce pain and improve a person's quality of life - both medically and cosmetically".

Hobbies include reading, shopping, cooking, business development and she is also a regular at the gym.

It should be recognised that Vicky is registered with the HCPC (Health Professions Council) which allows Vicky to practice as a podiatrist.  She is also able to supply ANTIBIOTICS for foot infections.
